Finding the medium

Oooof, where to begin. I probably already mentioned this. I'm still a little stuck with this digital stuff. I'm primarily stuck with, what would be the best way to display it? I mean sure there are prints and frames, and I've been trying that, but the glare on the glass is unbearable unless you pay beaucoup bucks for museum quality glass. Then why put a $15 print behind it? I'm trying acrylic right now, but the last print shop quoted me (online) $20, which I thought was insanely good, especially for my trial run to see if it looks good. I get a call five days later, ooops, it's supposed to be $120! I canceled it. Found another spot, same high price but they had a coupon, like I said, this is a trial run, why pay extra just to see if it works?

But, in my mind, these art pieces would be projected and displayed on large digital frames with some slight motion in the graphics. Each frame would be at least five grand... Which blows my mind, they have TVs out there for $100! But noooo, digital frames are more expensive... I guess I could get a smaller TV with a USB port, saw and part that sticks out too much and place it in a canvas frame... That's one idea I keep kicking around, but I need to find frames that would fit a specific TV. Really what I should do is just go find like three of the same cheaper TVs, measure them out and have wood cut for the frame, just a basic wooden frame that I could paint and nail together, mount the TVs to those and voila.

I miss the days of oil painting. I used to say it was more labor intensive, the paints, the linseed oil, turpentine, cleaning brushes, etc. which it is, but at least I could throw a frame on it, slap it on the wall and voila! None of this; should this be an NFT or displayed on XY and or Z? Too many choices is the issue!

Ramblings of a madman. This is what you're here for.

Speaking of mad men, Putin declared war on Ukraine last night, smfh... I thought as a kid the future was on its way to becoming Star Trek, unfortunately it's turning into Bladerunner. That would be a good shirt, All I wanted was Ster Trek, All I got was Bladerunner. Needs to be shorter. Anyways.

I downloaded the app for this blog thingy, that way I can write anywhere or anytime, instead of being chained to the PC, but, prepare for more spelling errors and grammatical errors! And I say I'll do this more often, just don't hold me to it.

Signing out.
